When CKTG first listed them, I placed an order, and in my order were the 0.85u (about 17k) and the 0.44u (about 34k) stones.

It turned out that the particular 0.44u stone was defective, although a friend who ordered one at the same time had no issues. Mine released large chunks of material and would destroy a razor edge. Mark checked it out and sent it back to Shapton, and Mr Isahara (sp?) confirmed that my 0.44u was defective, but I did not need it since I had the 0.85u.
