Mac, I recall someone mentioning that WOAs are sometimes seen on Australian Ebay. If you're not already, you may want to watch that site regularly.
You'd think based on rarity alone, the WOA would be valued higher than Eschers since Eschers are more prevalent. The few times I've seen the WOAs go on Ebay, the prices have been decent rather than outrageous.

Well, I'm not sure I want to wish you guys luck in getting a WOA before I get one, but with luck we'll all end up with them!
I thought I'd post a few pics of my Scottish hones...I love the TOS and the Dalmore Blue, but the Dalmore Yellow is a bit slow and rough for razors though it works nicely on other knives.

Neil, you and Christopher have beautifully figured/spotted Tams, thanks for posting. Mine is considerably more boring, with faint examples of the spotting characteristic of these hones. But it does have some interesting swirling figure which is cool, and also characteristic of these hones.
These photos are of the hone dry, the swirling figure is a bit more prominent when the stone is wet. I'm posting pics of my Tam just to add to the knowledge pool of variation seen in these lovely hones, for other natural stone addicts such as myself. This one is about 7" X 1.5" X 13/16":

TOS Hones
Guys I have been absent for a while but i enjoyed the thread alot...i stopped taking them in over here due to the irregularity of delivery and poor packaging of the items which often turned up badly damaged...not something i would want to loose on the shipping....
Anyways I will post some of my stones just for the hell of it..im glad they have found a place here...by all accounts now Makar is the man for these...maybe i will purchase another through him if he is helping out with this...
Im just glad you all have appreciated them and i know they are a beautiful stone to look at too...
Regards,simon

Jeez it's only about 40mins drive from em I think so I'd still be up for a wee jaunt doon the road to see the quarry .
good to see ya posting again , saw you on the the srp meet vid .. good to see your wearing the old kilt .
cheers Garry
