    Yes, I will do.

I've just received 4 razors from a member here to hone for him. Two of them are basically identical NOS Dorkos - perfect opportunity to test this stone against my others on the same blade.

    Exactly. You've cured your HAD?........

I've said that a bunch of times now. Then I see a poor little old vintage coticule at an antique store all covered in grime and homeless. Well, I just have to take the little old orphan home for $10, don't I? I mean wouldn't it be cruelty at its worst if I didn't???

Nice stone, Jimbo. I have one coming from So as we speak as well. I think yours is a heap thicker though so must have cost a bigger chunk of change. I'll of course post pics of mine in Show and Tell when it arrives.

Yes, I believe that it was. I can blame it on you then?

Oh alright. Maybe I haven't cured my HAD, but it's definitely on sabbatical at the moment.

Anyway, used it yesterday on two Dorkos. My oh my! So told me it was a very fine stone, and quite fast too. I got the edges to a happy place on the Shapton 16K and then moved on to this stone.

Test shave - well, the first few strokes were amazing. But unfortunately I think I may have overhoned, 'cause after one side of the face was done the edge went dull on me. Take two tomorrow, being a bit more careful this time.
