    I had one 'barber's delight' that was a yellow/green in mint condition and sold it to a member in the UK. Kept the y/g I hone with which isn't as cosmetically as nice, no box or matching slurry stone but it does the job. Post some pix of it with half wet and half dry on a neutral background. It is hard to tell from photos but whatever the color is, they are all extra good IME.
    Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

    I just want to say that I recently got a dark blue Escher (during the summer months) and I love it. The thing I just found is that even though the old thuringian I have is small (The ones in the wooden latch case) it is lighter in color and it DOES indeed bring the edge further than my dark blue Escher does.

    Food for thought.
