I wonder if the green hued stone could be the "Cutler's Green" stone Sham was searching for so enthusiastically awhile back ?

Yes, that's what the brownish one looks like to me too: a nice old Turkey hone. The cracks in various directions, their brittle nature and fast, but shallow cutting action are good indicators. Once free from oil and grime, they are various shades of grey and black when whet, and a dull light grey (with hints of brown or green) with much less pronounced patterning when dry.

The grey side is slightly above 8K and used very sparingly an the clear side should work as a strop for a couple edge trailing strokes.
