When I was buying these stones, the old guy out of whose hands I had to snatch the coti, said he thought the other one was an Arkansas.
Where would this be used in a honing progression? Would it be bevel setting, polishing/finishing or somewhere in between?

Pocket or larger knives IME.

The next hone I think is a man made hone and may be bound for ebay or the classifieds.

Once I get a chance to clean and play with them I will post some more pictures.

I played with the second from the left a bit today. After some cleaning I was able to make out the words MEDIUM, ..DIA and OIL.

So I am thinking this might be an old Indian Oil stone. I'm guessing that it is not suitable for razors, but will come in handy for knives.

if that is the case yes will be good for knifes. Sorry it wasn't what we thought.

no reason at all not to use it on razors. I think its supposed to be around 800 grit? There was a thread on this subject in here somewhere...
If you have a chip or nick that needs worked out, why waste higher quality hones on the rough work?

I'm happy with the hones I have found. The BBW/Coti will be a great addition to my razor hones. The other two will find a use with a small collection of knives which will be coming out of storage and moving to Thailand with me.

I would like to add few of my hones. When I picked them up I thought what a luch 2 CFs at once. What I could see from the oily muck was olive green colour on one and some brown ish part on the other. Both hard and very smooth. What was my surprise when I have cleaned them.
The green one is very dense has on it different shade of green swirls and some softer inclusion streaks. Apart from the green colour, smootheness, hardness and density not looking like any of my CFs. Size slight wedge shape thickness wise 230x50x 24-27mm.
The brown one is whole brown apart from a piece in the corner and full of very fine line like microcracks not only length wise but also perpendicular to them are same lines. size is 210x40mm.
I did not lap them yet as I have not decided what to do with them. They do look very prety.
