So, if I went with the naturals, I could get the Amukasa white and the Aoto. But going from the 4K to the coticule seems like a big jump.
I will probably ask the seller from eBay and see what he says.

Thanked: 199Going from 4k to Coticule would be about the same as going from 4k to 8k, which in not that big a jump.
Or you could just skip the Aoto, and use BBW instead, which is easier if you buy a combo coticule, and you'll likely get a better edge off the BBW than the Aoto anyway.

I don't know why I didn't think of that. I have a nice BBW already.
Thus all I would need is the Amukasa .
Then I could go from the Amukasa to the BBW to the coticule and then either shave or on to either my Nakayama, Frankonian or even the butterscotch hone.

After some thought, I decided the Dragon's Tongue was a reasonable addition.
I am deciding which Aoto stone will be best for me.
