It sure looks like a Thurigian stone, especially since it's from Germany. It also has the warning against using it with oil, which is typical of eschers and thuringians in general IIRC.

Oof! Nothing on this stone...i am going to have to get rid of it, if i want to keep my sanity. Not knowing its origins, is driving me bloody crazy!

Have you tried any razors on it ? Might be a good one. I would guess Thuringan family too since it is dark and looks like a Muller.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

Well, it hasnt been used, so i kindof wanted to get some information on it first...but it looks like there is nothing but dead-ends.
I did see that one was sold on the Belgian ebay, awhile back...but the listing has since been removed.
I dont think it can be 'that' old...so i dont know why its so hard to figure out it's origins.
    Sigh...
Thanks Jimmy. I will probably just have to give it a run, as you suggested.

That's got to be a Thuringian.
