    Default twin natural coticule

Take a look at this twin natural belgium coticule. There is a picture of the normal side and hybrid side. The normal side cuts extremly fast , the hybrid side cut not quite as fast.

This is a beautiful coticule, Gary! I can't wait to see more pics, and videos of honing, and other forums on the stone!

Was this a special order? I've been waiting to get a faster coticule.

The name of the layer is on the box. I got this from the vault at coticule.be. Bart will answer your questions. I got the first one. I have nu 3 in the vault that is fast but this one is even quiker. Ask bart he will get you one or ardenees. Tell them what you want and they will arange it for you.

Its a coticule. instead of black slate joining them it is joined by another coticule. It works just the same as top layer infact it feels even nicer to hone on. cuts slightly slower and feels a little harder. i have to say it's differant.

Very interesting and beautiful hone Gary. Here are photos of what may be the same stuff on the back of my pink/gray natural combo. These pics are when I cut a slurry stone off of one end. (there is a pencil grid on the gray) It is a gray coticule on the back side.... if it is a coticule backing ? I've never been able to confirm that. Whatever it is , it cuts slow and is hard. The pink is super fast and a bevel setter with slurry..

Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

see what you mean, my hybrid side has pink green and yellow shades. Its like i have every kind of coticule in one . i'm just test shaving of the normal side at the moment on my dovo. i will rehone the same dovo next week and compare any differance in both edges from each side. my shave this morning was typical coticule shave nice and smooth.

Wow. That is a beautiful coticule Gary. Congratulations!

Jimmy what are you using as a saw in that picture?

Strange women lying in ponds distributing swords is no basis for a system of government.
