I leave the slurry on my Turingian on too just wanted to point out the differences.

I shaved off the dried slurry edge I honed the dubl duck on, it seemed to pull a little, not much though.

Yesterday I received a vintage thuri in the mail with the wooden box and label. Sham told me its the same as an escher! Yes!

Congrats. A number of vendors used their own label on Escher hones. Celebrated German Razor Water Hone, Droescher, and others that I can't think of offhand.

Yeah it says Celebrated German Razor water hone on the label.
It's a nice little hone, almost like honing on glass or something.

Disburden is that the one of tim? if i remember rightly it is very similar to my escher.

Yep! I just got it in the mail yesterday. I will be playing with it this week, most likely it's a keeper. .
