    Do you guys think i got a good deal on the hone, i paid 10$ for it and i think it works fine.

    You made a good deal. The only way to pay less is to find them at garage sales & flea markets and even then you will not know until you try them on a razor.

    Thanks, the guy at the antique store had no clue what it was for. I pulled it out of a box of knife stuff and when he asked why i wanted it i told him I wanted it for my Straightrazor. He asked if anyone still used those things. I told him only about 10,000 or so people that get together on a place called Straightrazorplace and desucss the best way to keep this artfrom alive. He dident know what to charge me for it so i said i will give ya 10$ for it and he said sure. so i felt as if i had made a good deal and im sure the guy will be talking about the strange young man that used straightrazors still whenever the subject of hones is brought up.
