If this is true, then why should I use a paste? I'm simply costing myself more in the long term, correct?
I've never used paste of any kind on (hard or impossible to find it here) so i cannot say if they are good or not from my personal experience, but for what i've read is that so many people use them so they cannot be bad if used properly.

I normally use mine in conjuction with honing anyway so I don't think I'll ever have a problem. It's amazing how long a good Barber hone will keep your edge keen....

    I love these questions.......

Lemme know what you think after you have pasted or sprayed a couple hundred razors or used the media on yours for a couple years..........

I don't like the red either Glen.........

    Have fun,

    Wink

    Now Lynn....

That's a tall order for those of us who are only appentice shavers approaching journeyhood all too slowly. Why some of us may only have 20 or 30 hones and strops and while knowing the difference between the two, are not yet adept at their use much less figuring out what color paste we can use to festoon and adorn their faces.

Now, can I put green paste on a yellow stone? The colors seem to work well together.

Ha, trick advice. We know you are supposed to paste or spray the hones and strops, not the razors
