Yeah, don't buy it. What is the grit on that stone again?....1200 or something along those lines?

How many times do we have to remind misguided newbs that cheap does not mean cheap in the case of inferior shaving tools, rather in this context it means entirely useless.
Cheap to many here could mean a basic Dovo, or a vintage razor in our Classifieds. Zeepk appear to be cheap in the eyes of one who knows not what they are however I do not even class them as cheap as 'cheap' means it 'will fulfil a function at a lesser price.' These (in my opinion) are not even capable of that and in order to hone effectively the victim who considers price and is indeed Zeepk's lawful prey will now have to pay the price of a true hone to correct his misfortune; rather than if he had purchased a sufficient product initially and paid a degree more for known and proven quality, he would have been better off financially.
This is not mocking in any way, rather you are unfortunate and thought that you had purchased several quality products. The fact that they are never mentioned here except as inferior products that you should avoid at all and (any) costs would have informed you of their popularity or lack of it.
You probably have an insufficient quantity, however these bricks have a very low U-value which makes them excellent resistors to thermal conductivity. They therefore act as great insulators and if you had enough would be a good building material, albeit they do not yet comply with Building codes I should imagine not. I reckon they would pass all the tests.

Thanked: 317Actually, no they won't. Some may recall that my very first straight razor purchase was a set of zeepk straight razors (I'm using the term 'razor' pretty loosely here), a Zeepk strop and a Zeepk hone. After an hour with the zeepk hone, the razors wouldn't even cut paper. Plus, the hone was so small that anything beyond a tiny breeze and it wouldn't hold down a sheet of paper. It was about 1/2 the width of what the ebay add claimed, and an inch shorter.
Yup, and it only took me a month to get my money back through a paypal dispute.
Maybe. I didn't try. I wouldn't want to try though. It might break the hone.

Using Zeepk anything for shaving is like trying to extinguish a small fire by pouring kerosene on it. Or trying to hone a razor w/ a piece of cinderblock. Or using 60 grit sandpaper as a pasted strop. Or trying to lather your soap w/ a live badger. The result will always be this:
