Thanked: 39Zeepk Barber Hone
I found a bunch of them for cheap on eBay, as I am in the market for a relatively cheap hone for touching up my edge. It's not dull yet. I just want to have something handy for when it gets a little grabby. After a very little bit of initial research, I've read that I'd be better off buying a brick. Has anyone used/heard of these things, and are they as bad as the general sentiment about them seems to be?

PLEASE DO NOT BUY A ZEEPK ANYTHING!
Go to ebay and look for something "vintage". Swaty, Roberson, Shuredge, Keen Kutter, Itsapeach, but for God's sake dont buy the Zeepk! It is easier to fool people than to convince them they have been fooled. Twain

For fun, I'd rather enjoy hearing a nice list of the sins and shortcomings of the notorious Zeepk hones.
After each one, we could chant "Kyrie eleson!" "Lord, have mercy!"

When browsing through Ebay listings, is it possible to screen out all the Zeepk filth so I don't have to wade through it all?

And their razors make good letter openers.
Yep, definately avoid anything with Zeepk written on it!
