He has these grades on his hones. Is one grade better than another? What difference will the grades make?

Are there any problems lapping with a piece of wet/dry sandpaper on a thick piece of mirror vs. an actual lapping stone?

you may want to confirm with someone more knowledgeable but from my research a wet/dry sandpaper will work fine. Originally Posted by shoenanvil
