Ya turned out it was an Arkansas stone, felt like it was around the 3-4k level so I didn't buy it.
BUUUUT fantastic surprise, the guy also had a coticule!!! It's not in perfect shape but it's a natural! It feels finer than my pikes superfine coticule. Just has one crack that's slightly worrying me on the bbs side (i'll post pics soon).
anyways, for 20$ I ain't complaining
