    Nice stone.Funny thing is that I think it is only 1/2 of the original stone. I had simmilar shape just smaller in my hands recently (it means yesterday when I gave it to a friend of mine enjoy and use it). And the price? It feels good to know what I have in my collection and how much some thinks it is worth.

    Is anyone else amazed by the size of the bevel around this stone from chamfering?

    You will find that this type of CF (meaning it's shape) is often badly chiped on edges and therefore if you lap it is often better to have a bigger chamfer.

    adrspach, I contacted the seller and you were right, the original stone was cut. I remember an CF auction with pencil lines drawn on the surface, might have been that one. The other half is currently for sale.
