Thanked: 45Well it arrived and it is a coti, but has a crack along the middle that means top surface is split into two. this is a old crack and I believe has always been this way, had to cut out box as was glued in with same stuff used to glue both half's of the stone together. Any ideas how to fix the crack or info on what other side is welcome.

Are you sure it's not a vein? I have a Coticule with a crack I can feel but I can hone just fine with it as long as I don't hone with an angle parallel to the crack.

Thanked: 45Nope crack came into two parts when soaked in hot water to try and get out box, all lines up perfect so think I will still be able to use when I put it back together

Yeah it is BBW for sure
I think others have recommended using long cure two part epoxy glue for glueing the sides together. Good luck.
