Yes, the prices went up, and they have implemented a strata specific pricing model.

Please understand that I'm not being rude, but there comes a time when you have to either poop, or get off the pot. Watching this thread here and on C.be is really starting to bore me.

BBW are suitable for razors, and you can get good results. You know that.
Coticules are getting more expensive. You know that.

With either, you need a bevel setter for razors with a lot of damage. You know that.

What you don't know is that with both is a significant learning curve, and it will require you to work to get great results. To me, that's part of the appeal, but after following this thread, I'm not so sure that you have the patience for it. In your price range, you can get a whole lot of lapping films that will get you unreal sharpness.

You have all the information you need to make a decision. No one can make it for you.

Alright, since the train has left the station price-wise, there's no priortity for the coticule.

I'll just get the BBW, that will keep me going untill i can afford a cotiucle of appropriate size. that way i won't have to compromise on size. The BBW will work for the time in, and is big enough to learn good technique.
