Thread: Chinese 12k Hone

Robin, I don't know what prices are for D8C plates in the UK. I understand they're more costly outside the states. Mid $40s to mid 80s here. I destroyed one by following the method listed here. The C12k is very hard. No, I'm not worried about the diamonds, but about the nickel binder that holds them to the plate. If you're gonna use the DMT, the best advice I've seen (from Holli4pirating) is to do it either at the sink under running water, or under water in a tub or bucket.
