Hello again, can somebody id this stone?
Is a brown stone, 8'x2x1 1/2.Is a fine stone.

Is it lapped? There are many possibilities as to what it is. Can you place some better pictures in the thread? Also show it with slurry.

Looks promising, Like Scipio says slurry pic would be good. Slurry should be the same color as the stone if it's what I think it is. You will need to try it on some razors to see what kind of finish it puts on them.
It should be very fine. I hesitate to call it any name as this might cause temporal rifts in the time space continuum. Wonk, wonk,wonk. Like Charlie Browns friggin teacher.

Don't have a clue what it is but do a search for "brown Escher" in the hones forum, cross your fingers and hone a razor or two.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

Thank you gents, is not yet mine so I can't post more pics, or do a slurry test.The thing is the dimmensions : Escher 1 1/2 thick?

Sure you can post one more picture, right? The dimensions are actually listed as 8 1/4" x 2 1/4" x 1 1/2". £25 BIN is not bad, I'd say go for it before anyone else finds it.
