If you look at the detailed description it includes a strop box. However, looking and the photos the quality or workmanship appears to be seriously lacking.

+1 It looks pretty.... underwhelming to me. And it seems like a gimmick-- what, exactly, is the reason for putting a strop on a box? Marketing, that's what!

Didn't you read the description? You can store a razor or a brush in it. Or anything else you can fit in a small box... if you could fit the other tops in it and it looked higher quality it might be worth a shot. I know the SRD modular paddle costs a wee bit more, but the guys at SRD aren't messing around with the quality of their workmanship.
    BKratchmer and Nphocus like this.

But, I'm a pretty basic guy. Being as shaving has been described as a "barbaric custom" by a nefarious acquaintance of mine, I enjoy a barbaric shave (I surmise).
I really wish I could accomplish a good, basic shave like the video that Willy posted. Bare bones, get the job done and get some
kissy-face-huggy-bod from the wife or girlfriend. That boy can flat shave it off!! Talk about mowing the lawn!

Anyway, I too noticed that the Stropbox and Lttle Stropper were absent from his website.

I think perhaps you missed my point it wasn't a knock on Williams, which just about everyone on this forum considers to be "The" basic shave soap which I buy locally for $.98 a puck...

Agreed! It's not a bad idea at all, it's just incredibly shoddily executed.

Agreed, it is pretty basic! Michael is trying to enlighten me with some better stuff, some soap with something called 'shea butter', but I haven't been home to try it yet. Almost afraid that my un-pampered epidermis will spontaneously combust upon application of anything civilized. It's used to 5th wheel grease and diesel. ;-)
