Thanked: 1936I highly recommend NOT trying a slurry. I borrowed one from Sham to learn another stone and tried a slurry. This stone is so hard that the slurry doesn't break down like a coti or thuri & it WILL "slurry dull" your razor. Use a light oil like sewing machine oil on it as a final finisher. That is a very, very nice stone. Few razors will be able to handle the final edge that they can produce, similar to a Shapton 30K or the higher end Japanese finishers. I only recommend the harder steel razors on it.
Very nice stone, most definitely a keeper as they are very rare.Last edited by ScottGoodman; 11-26-2011 at 09:20 PM.
