Well, I've got several DMT diamond stones, however they are fine and the largest is 8" long. I bought and use them primarily for pocket knives and the kitchen. As you all know, the 8" is the same length as most synthetics, thus making it difficult to lap a stone. Well, I've been eyeballing the DMT11C & finially have it. I have checked it with a known flat edge and it's straight & ready to go to work. My "plans" are to only use it for my stones. Now there is plenty of room to keep things flat as you can see:
