Can anyone help me with this stone?

    Thanks.
I say no CF unless my monitor shows me false colours. Reason why I have asked about the origin of the stone was that I have seen same pattern of the stone on one of the auction stones. I was tending more towards arkie.

I have never seen a CF with a yellowish streak like that and I have seen many. I'd say there's a virtual certainty it isn't. I don't think it is a German stone either due to the box. Most likely a British slate type.

Thanks a bunch for your input gents. I have a CF, but completely different to this one. Will post some photos soon, when m little 2.5 year old missy give me the time do so.

I still beleive this could be a Idwal, as Scipio once saw. Not unusual, especially if looing at the one for sale on strop-shop.co.uk. Good stuff there.

...Just bought a WB Featheredge on ebay one week ago and just finished resoring it, looks like the dog's B*cks . Will post pictures soon as well.

At one time Sham/hi bug gl had the largest collection of Charnleys known to man. All of them were olive green with reddish garnet inclusions, usually in a streaked pattern, none of them were square.

This is such a weird thread, because the stone in the OP was from an active ebay auction (290596927554). Personally I think it's not cool to discuss such a stone or link to an active auction, see this thread for reasons, unless something is wrong with the item or the seller.

What boggles me are the elaborate lies gogetit75 comes up with. Why?
