Thanked: 202I have to agree with Neil about the inclusions however those red streaks/stains are signifficantly softer then the green parts. Significantly means when I was cutting them down on Tuesday I felt much faster progress cutting through red part then normaly and i know it was red as I did not use water an dust comming out was the "tell tale" part.

I call Charnley Forest on that one, I've saw one at the last Razorcon that looks almost exactly like that.

Thanked: 3164It's not the red parts, its the crystalline fragments that do the damage: they are often (but not always) in the blackish core, which is surrounded quite often by the red.
The red is very soft indeed - if a CF has a number of wide red streaks and/or spots, the slurry often goes pinkish.
