Got a stone and I am curious about the kanji. I played with the filters and that's the best I could do to enhance it. Any idea what it says?
Thank you in advance

For the moment I'm sticking to:
(Read from left to right & above to below):
山産山
? 正城
証本國
>
山城國産正本山?証 = Yamashiro kuni-san Honyama - ? - shō:
Authentic Yamashiro area product, Honyama, warranted
大西精選 = Ōnishi Seisen = (careful) selected by Ōnishi
優 (in circle) = Yū = excellent
Apparently MICOR was a retailer/seller/producers (around 1950 - 60's) of
straight razors, (stainless) kitchen knives & forks,... and ... stones ;)

By the way, apparently the listing of this stone stated that the seller bought it
around 昭和40年 (=1965) and (if I translated correctly) he said to have bought
it for the price of about half a year salary :p
A day or 2 and i can submit my application to join the j nat club :tameshigiri:
