I have a couple of new ones from Alex Gilmore, the large koppa is mine and I’m trying out the smaller one. Both are deep layer stones, the large is a Nakayama and the smaller one probably is too, though there other possibilities.

The large koppa is hard, very fine, and makes an edge like shaving with your index finger. it cuts well though not a speed demon, it’s a stout polisher. The small one is blazing fast, will cut wear-resistant SLD steel easily, and is also hard and very fine, but I’m still testing it out.

    Thanks!

I just quickly honed a razor on it, and did a test shave, and wow the edge felt whole another level of comfort then I'm used too. I only have experience with Jnats from TomoNagura, but this is a whole another level of smoothness of the edge. Also much easier to make slurry on it. Wow
