    The term microcorundum implies no grit or fineness.
    It´s just a term that says "this stone uses fine Al2O3". Almost all of the current synthetic stones use it, too!
    Naniwa, Shapton ...
    Why should it not be suitable for honing?!?!

    For stropping.
    This micro corundum(Al2O3) is better to use for stropping, but not for honing.
    I thought the last comment was not part of the translation
