The razor and hone are both very good . The rasor is the uper class , made for the inteligence in limited edition it has to be 60 65 year made .
The hone is very good synthetic grit size is 1000 to 2000 but it is hard and leaves scratches like 3 4 K stone , used with oil or soap lather is eve nfiner . The practice is 1 stone honning and canvas with paste in the past . It is not a fast stone but very consistent scratch patern and very sharp edge that has to be smoothened .
I have 2 or 3 diferent of theese and there is from SIC - they are harder .Definetly you can use it as bevell seter and midle stone . There was no such practice for fine synthetics in the past , in rusia there is aboundance of Yasma - Jaspeer / microcristaline cvartz / that is fine as black arc or transeludent arc.
Very good stone and razor indeed .
