I've seen those on fleabay before and wondered about them. Not enough to buy one, but wondered.

It amazes me on the amount of knowledge provided by the SRP members. Thanks

Be bad luck to get one of those things with a little roughness at the junction of the marbles, huh?

Seems like if the thing were to work well, it would almost have to be a straight junction (like two cylinders) instead of marbles, and even then, one would have to be ultra careful with the edge going through it.

Be much nicer to have two hard stones that were at an angle only a tiny bit more blunt than the razor's grind to be able to pull a razor through lightly.

But then again, it's not that hard to hone and maintain a razor with the multitude of things that are out there now, so the whole exercise would probably be a way to get a less nice edge with only a tiny bit of effort saved.

Pithy Remark #1: If I have to drag my razor through this thing 3 times a week, how well can it really be working?
Pithy Remark #2 (from the 13 year old boy inside my head): Was it just me or did all that talk about a razor being run between your balls kinda make you cringe too?

Re #1: I wondered the same. Re #2: it didn't.

Would losing your marbles really drive you bonkers?
