Thanked: 0One more thing, if its a coticule, how hard is it to lap the white side? i saw the stone and it had a inwards curve of at least 1mm on the deepest part. maybe a little bit more.

Thanked: 2591hard to tell what the stones are, IMHO you have to pal and clean them up before taking any pics. After they are clean chow them to us.
For not none of them looks like coticule or BBW.Stefan

Thanked: 202I have to agree about cleaning. Also try to notice how easy was it to lap it, colour and consistency of slurry and so on. Then show new pictures with details for best possibility to id it.

Swarf pattern on the jellow one does not look coticule-like to me. Speckled swarf pattern is what you see on an Arkansas hone, more streaky pattern on a coticule as far as my experience goes. Coticule is easy to lap, Arkansas isn't.

thats not a coticule it looks to be man made stone (both stones) probably a silicon carbide or aluminum oxide stone (combo stone) you wont get slurry off of either one .

Those are a blue belgian and a natural combination blue/yellow belgian. Very well used. The language is Spanish as you already know. Don't know what that brown thing is next to the combo. You can lap those both back into beautiful condition.
