Great link for "Identify this stone" situations.
Now, obviously all natural stones look a little different so there'll always be those times when no matter how many pictures of different stones you look at, you may still be unable to get a 100% positive identification. But with that being said, this link is fantastic... a LOT of examples. You'll have to have your browser translate the page though, because it's in German. * Olivia's Natursteine *

Thanked: 202Olivia is a member here. For me interesting hone there is Cutlers Green however the stone on her site looks more like LI hone.

Olivia was a member here. I assume the Cutler's Green was a guess of her. She should have a lot more nice stones in her collection.

She hasn't been active for a while. I used to buy her bath soaps, which are excellent and she explained to me what had happened.
I don't think it is a CG either, albeit a great looking hone. It is however, the only example that anyone has tried to claim as being one.

Thanked: 202Funny thing is that exactly same picture as on Olivia's site as CG is used here as CF. Our wiki used to have many more stones in in good times.
