    Chosera 1k for the bevel.

Norton 8k to start the fine work.

    Nakayama Maruichi Asagi to finish.

I do, however, jump from stone to stone simply because I have them.

Put me down for the Chosera 1k as my bevel setter.

For finishing, I've grown very fond of my Escher's these days.

My favorite is a vintage coticule combo bout. I use it for everything.

Favorite hone... the norton 4k/8k combo hone.
Hands down it gets used most.

I have an active contest going on between
my 10K and finer finishing and maintenance hones.
    That contest involves these contenders:
    • Naniwa Superstone 12K
    • Naniwa Chosera 10k
    • SIGMA Select II 13k
    • Spyderco Ultra Fine ceramic with sub-micron spray.
    • Selected barber hones
    • Submicron spray on glass.
    • 0.25 micron film on glass.

All of them, I have no favourites.

However, my main work horses are a King 1000/6000 combi and a coticule. My preferred finisher is an unidentified/unidentifiable green hone but I have just received a 12K naniwa that I have yet to play around with properly.

I love my hones, which one is my favourite depends on the razor, job at hand and my mood.

I like the 1k C for bevel work. then its my coticule from there on.coticule is just always been my favourite stone . Not for the best of best, but for what they are , they just apeal to me, and i can get shave ready edge every time. paste arn't mentioned, But i realy don't mind finishing with ti white paste or ti cronium oxide. Its brill stuff. I've tryed eschers and j nats , i would say my smoothest ever edges, i have experianced from any of my hones, has to be the ozuku , but i still prefer to use the coticules..
