It arrived and I compared it to the Dragon's Tongue I received from Inigo Jones a while back. The two are quite similar in appearance and feel. Looking down at the surface it's hard to tell them apart.

However, the Welsh Thuri is very very hard - much harder than DT and equivalent to a very hard JNat. Not Thurigian-like at all. Just very very hard slate.
Trying to raise a slurry using the slurry stone took a lot of effort and I could only raise a little bit.

The slurry is whiter than my DT, which raises a grey slurry.

Performance? Slow cutter.
