Thanked: 12If you think that the fine grade of the deep rock and old rock hones are a waste than feel free to send any you find to me and I'll dispose of them. Also I would like to know where you found info on these stones about their distribution. I would like to read this material.
There where different grades of these hones. My Old Rock is a extra extra fine, I never use a slurry stone on it and it is like a piece of glass. Fine being the coarsest and extra extra fine being the finest. You have a very nice stone and you should cherish it since it belonged to your grandfather. I would try to clear coat the label with something to preserve it.Last edited by matt789; 03-02-2012 at 11:05 AM.
