Default And what do we have here?

    so.

I was dropping my wife off at a baby shower over in the next town and after I dropped by a little antique store to look for the odd straight. No razors. But I did find this little guy:

Am I correct that this is a coticule bound to BBW?

    Ummmmm, no.

You can tell from the blue, that it's rather coarse - not like a smooth BBW. Doesn't look like a coti to me either. I hope I'm proven wrong, but this looks like a synthetic stone, similar to an older Pike/Norton. Also, wrong type of box.

It seems now that it isn't a coti. The stone does give off whitish slurry but is very hard. Also when cleaned up I noticed a USA stamp on the end. last I checked USA wasn't in Belgium.

If I had to guess at the grit, I would def say the yellow side is 5k or above, but really, my fingers can't tell the difference past 4. :P

    Any ideas?

Yep, synthetic...looks like an India stone...good for knives, not for razors if that is what it is...

Beautiful India dual grit hone. Very goog for knives and tools. Unfortunalety because of it's low grit not much use for razors.
