Default Need to stop buying hones, and catch RAD instead

It seems like my whole razor budget goes to stones and, to lesser extent, to strops.

I love the hones but I'd like to stop accumulating them.

I need more razors but I'm out of dough all the time.

Now I have two more cotis on the way. WTF am I going to do with those?

And there are two or three razors in the classifieds that I would LOVE to have. Sigh.

Default Hi. My name is Michael and I have HAD

Chorus: HI MICHAEL... And to make matters worse, the stones are alot more expensive than most razors. Sigh. I know it doesn't help, but you're in good company. Wanna buy a 9" LPB...

When I first started with a straight, I quickly got a BAD case of RAD. Couldn't buy them fast enough. That gradually turned into rabid HAD, and now I have nearly as many hones as I do razors. It's a sickness.

+1! For me, it's Thuringians, though I do have a new coticule and Belgian Blue at hand.

Seeing that you now have the stones and skill why not offer to hone a few for others every month do you can keep those skills? Idea ?

The other side of HAD is unless you do A LOT of honing you will never get the chance to know the ins and outs of every individual hone. Same goes for RAD. But since we all have an AD or two, myself included, I guess I'll just shut my yap...

What skills? Hahahaha... just kidding. But seriously, I can't guarantee anything, but if you're asking me to hone one for you just pm me.
