They were talked about on So Yama-you know what's site a few years ago. Made in Japan, they were hard to find on this side of the pond back then. More expensive than the dia-sharp dmt. I heard they were better but never did buy one. Then they changed from a solid plate with the diamonds impregnated, like the dmt and the shapton, to a thin sheet with double faced tape to hold it on to a plate. Replace as needed. That kind of turned me off so I never did get one.

Sorry to ressurecting an old thread, but does anyone know where a guy could get one of the 2x3 plates? I'm not having much luck with the google.

You can cut the sheets as described in this link:

I wouldn't go cutting down a plate.The white gleam of swords, not the black ink of books, clears doubts and uncertainties and bleak outlooks.

Just don't go fetch your wife's sewing scissors, I cut up some DMT shims with one and it's not quite like before.
