    Default Help me my hands are bald again!

    I noticed I had longish hairs on the back of my hands again, triggered a response of touching up half a dozen razors on the barbers hone. End result, another month or 2 of good shave and hands w/o hair. How do you all tell when its getting time to refresh the edges on you collection (private razors for the pro honers)?

    Re: your hands, have you considered Rogaine? Comb-overs never look good.

    Pretty subjective but if the comfort /sharpness isn't what I know the razor is capable of I touch up the edge.

    My Dad had a theory about what causes hair on hands...no wait, you said the back of your hand Yeah, the hair on the back of my hand and arms is usually first to go. If I hone lots of razors the hair on my belly and chest normally goes next. I look like the guy from 40 Year Old Virgin after that.

    I feel for you !! I always catch heck from my sweetie[Karen Sue] about my bald hands/forarms/belly, she thinks it's an abomonation for some reason?! I do touch up and re-bevel a fair amount of things with edgs, knives/razors/kitchen knives and so on.
    There much be a club for us some were for us to comeserate and to compare notes? No, well I can dream can't I?

    Sorry I missed the last meeting. I had a relapse, and was honing again, cutting hair all over the place. My name is Maxi, and I shave odd patches of hair off my body.
