The dimensions are not like any escher or hohenzollern I've had. With the new pix it doesn't look to be a thuringan either. Mackie's certainly is a dead ringer.

I know someone who knows what the stone really is.
    But unfortunately he's not talking.

I slurried it up with my worn DMT. Sorry for my photos!. It took on a light gray as wet and dries to a white powder. It is not gritty whatsoever and as dried, feels like baby powder in hand. Wants to stick to fingers. Very powdery. I did take a razor previously finished on it and tried with the slurry. Oh yes, big difference. I thinned the slurry, gradually, until none and finished it again!

I feel the killer has been Identified. A zombie gnome!

Darl and I are apparantly too easily entertained!

I really don't have much to add. I tried to get a shaving edge off mine, and it would get almost there but not real comfortable. The stone seems to be really fine like my 12 k but feels slightly gritty when honing on it. Seems too heavy for a little gnome to have made it. They would need help moving it.
