LOL I was wondering who was going to be the one that actually read my post and thought about it I almost added the fact that there are quite a few times during the month that the stone sits idle and dry for up to 3 days...

So far so good for mine,, and I do abuse it, I do the same for most of my hones, I toss the Naniwa SS in the tub to soak for up to 30 min or more too,, same with my Shapton GS... I am pretty rough with mine, so honestly ever time I see posts like this my first reaction is ***** what did you guys do??? or, that is a bad hone

I agree Stingray they are the best right now, fast and very smooth cutting
