Hey guys, I've no idea, seems to be a kind of limestone, but sure isn't a hybrid coti, maybe Vasilis or Piet are right.

I have no idea what it might be. Have you lapped the stone? We might be able to say more then, assuming that it isn't already lapped.

Looking the clear side, I would say, I think it is not fine enough as a finisher for a razor. But it might be useful as a bevel setter. And, I'M CURIOUS! Anyway, it's your choice. We will see what other members have to say about it, statistically, there will be someone on the forum who have seen one like this.

Thanked: 202Beautiful stone. It looks like never used or even lapped. Those hones which were lapped with free sand method often show this kind of roughness. If you can lap one side and the edge it could give more information.
