Hone ID Please
i have a Stone. He come from France. It is a Barber Stone. Natural. But what it is?
He is very smooth and very fine. It was used with oil.

Any photos of the stone dry? I don't think its a Turkish oilstone. For this much slurry, even with a diamond plate, it needs a few days of lapping. But it does look like one.

The stone is wet. The slurry is easy with a Thuringian stick ...

I have no diamond plate. But to sandpaper it went well. No hard stone. Thought LaLune only.
