It looks like it could be a Turkey Oilstone.

Any photos of the stone dry? I don't think its a Turkish oilstone. For this much slurry, even with a diamond plate, it needs a few days of lapping. But it does look like one.

The stone is wet. The slurry is easy with a Thuringian stick ...

I have no diamond plate. But to sandpaper it went well. No hard stone. Thought LaLune only.

Turkish oilstones are strange hones. Lapping a stone that is wet is impossible. It will easily destroy a diamond plate or many pieces of sandpaper, pretty much like a translucent Arkansas. But if its dry, it feels soft and lapping is much much easier. No different from slate stones. If you upload some photos of the stone dry, it will help for the identification. I don't think it's la lune.

I must say to me it does have a Schwedenstein like pattern, a dry pic might help as well are those lines like flaking we commonly see on LI?
