Thread: American Slate

well i ran in to an old friend and we were catching up on life in our conversation he told me he works at a slate company so guess what fell into my lap . some slate quarried in the good ol usa. i got three pieces 8x3x1/2 one is green the other is purple&green and the other is red.the red slate is the hardest slate that i have come across.the first pics are of the stones dry and wet the last pic's are of the red slate with AJ's LM and a vintage purple slate just to compare the color difference enjoy !
