The 8k is slow to lap. I guess because it is denser. I have never figured it out.
From their stillness came their non-action...Doing-nothing was accompanied by the feeling of satisfaction, anxieties and troubles find no place

Same exact thing happened to me. I sent them back to Amazon and had a new one before I could even send the damaged stuff back.

Thanked: 2I am joining the club, my Norton 4k/8K arrived today exactly the same way from Amazon, with the end of the case smashed, so it's off to the post office tomorrow, will cost 3 times more to post it back to them (as I am in Australia) than what I paid to get it to me, but they said they will reimburse me, just have to wait another 2 weeks for it to arrive.
Looks like someone might have dropped a whole carton of them at Amazon.

Advice on Norton hones
We went online to the amazon return center and put in a return there and printed off a shipping invoice. We didn't pay a thing, just took it to a UPS store and they taped it back up and shipped it off. Might want to check and make sure it's diff even though you are in Australia.
Seems like the general consensus is...DONT BUY STONES FROM AMAZON!!! lol.
