    I have the king among others, use it for knives. My order of preference is: Naniwa Chosera, Shapton GS, Norton, Naniwa Superstone, and lastly King.

    I like my King, but I find it to have more of an "abrasive" feel to it. My Naniwa 1k is just as fast, but has much more of a smooth feel....I usually use the King if I have to set a bevel from scratch..

    Ive got a Nani 1k coming in. I can't wait to give it a try.

    I have the king and like it. It removes material quickly without deep scratching. It's easy to remove the marks from it on the next grit.
    One time, in band camp, I shaved with a Gold Dollar razor.
