    The texture of a Thuringian is usually smooth whereas the texture of a Schwedenstein is patchy with tiny speckles. Here's a good close-up from Undream:

    Haha, it can actually be really nice, the vikings used it and nobody complained about their swords being dull!

    I am in it with Piet and also if I am remebering right he was recently selling one of these razor/hone/strop boxes. Good find.
