The first time I put my natural stones away the cardboard boxes became saturated.
The next time I let them sit in enclosures like dish racks for a week to make sure they are dry. The cardboard boxes didn't get wet. dish racks - Walmart.com
If you have a Norton 4k/8k combo the two stones glued together may come apart as well if you microwave.
